In the Details Service Agreement
This agreement outlines the responsibilities of In the Details (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the client (referred to as “you” or “customer”) in relation to the services you purchase. By utilizing our services, you agree to the following terms without any modifications. Please read this agreement carefully:
Access to Water & Electricity
For all our car detailing services, we require access to water and electricity. If you don’t have access to either, please contact us at (your contact number) so we can find a suitable solution.
Operating & Moving Your Vehicle
During the detail job and any agreed-upon additional times, you grant In the Details access to your vehicle. Please ensure that the vehicle keys are available to us. By signing this document, you authorize us to operate and move your vehicle as necessary, as determined by our In the Details technician.
Time Limit
Each detail job has specified time limits based on the chosen package. The completion of work is determined by the unique time limit associated with the package. The following time limits apply to base jobs excluding add-ons. Add-ons can be used to extend the base time using the provided durations. Timekeeping will be at the discretion of your assigned In the Details technician. The time starts once the technician completes the client check-in and initial equipment setup.
Detail Time Limits:
- Bronze Package: 3 – 3.5 hours
- Silver Package: 4 – 4.5 hours
- Gold Package: 4.5 – 5 hours
- Diamond Package: 6 – 6.5 hours
Guaranteed Outcome Expectations
The following percentages represent the expected outcome of our services based on the time elapsed since the vehicle’s last detailing:
- Last detailed less than 1 year ago: 90% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 1 year ago: 85% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 2 years ago: 80% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 3 years ago: 75% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 4 years ago: 70% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 5 years ago: 65% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 6 years ago: 60% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 7 years ago: 55% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 8 years ago: 50% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 9 years ago: 45% as good as new
- Last detailed more than 10 years ago: 40% as good as new
Quality of Service
We strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services. While we cannot guarantee complete restoration of your vehicle to a previous or new condition, we will do our utmost to bring your vehicle to the best possible condition within the constraints of our resources, time, and expertise. At the completion of the job, we will conduct a final inspection together with you. If, after our departure, you find our service unsatisfactory, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will address your concerns. Please note that any concerns raised after 24 hours of job completion or if the final inspection was not conducted with our In the Details technician will not be held liable by In the Details.
Accidents, Pre-Existing Condition & Damage
In the Details and its technicians cannot be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle while it is in our care. We exercise the utmost care and professionalism in our work. If any damage occurs during the detailing process, we will promptly inform you of the incident. By agreeing to our detailing services, you also agree not to hold In the Details liable for any pre-existing damages to your vehicle. Our liability is limited to the total dollar amount of each job.
Fees, Terms of Service & Payment Terms
The fee for our services is the agreed-upon dollar amount indicated as the “Total Cost” in the final price. The term of service refers to the time reserved by In the Details to complete the requested job and does not guarantee a specific outcome. It is possible that the job may take longer than the reserved time. In such cases, In the Details reserves the right to charge an additional fee of $80 per hour for significantly extended detail jobs, at the discretion of our technicians. We will inform you of the possible fee before or during the detailing process.
Providing Feedback & Photos
We value your feedback. Please send us an email at info@inthedetails.com.au to share any concerns or feedback, whether positive or negative. Additionally, In the Details reserves the right, at its discretion, to use pictures of your vehicle for marketing purposes and publish them on our website www.inthedetails.com.au or social media platforms. Rest assured that your personal information will not be shown in the photos.
Termination of Service
In the event that we determine a client is not a suitable fit for our services, In the Details may cancel any new or existing maintenance plans or services. Instances of service termination include direct engagement with In the Details employees instead of going through the company, exhibiting rude or harsh behavior towards In the Details employees, or any other reason deemed appropriate for service termination at our discretion.
Changes by In the Details
In the Details reserves the right to modify this service agreement at any time. Any changes will be listed in this section. However, In the Details does not make any commitment to update the materials.
I Understand That
By utilizing our services, you understand and acknowledge the following:
- In the Details does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results with our detailing services.
- In the Details’ liability is limited to the total dollar amount of each job.
- In the event that the job exceeds the expected time, In the Details reserves the right to charge an extra fee.
- Deposits made are non-refundable as materials are ordered on demand.
- All sales are final.
